Officially Launched: Rind and Reason Consulting
It is with the upmost excitement that I am sharing today the official launch of Rind and Reason Consulting, LLC. Let me tell you a story about how we got here.
When I first began consulting work 10 years ago, I had yet to figure out who I was within the world of consulting. I knew who I was outside of that, I was passionate about being a mother and a changemaker. Thus, Mother and Changemaker consulting was born. The branding I chose was for my mother, and grandmother - who’s favorite flowers were johnny jump ups and lavender.
Like a mother would, Mother and Changemaker consulting helped me to grow - to learn what it meant to be an independent business owner, to connect with my clients, and through many mistakes I took my first steps to find strategies that worked.
But it wasn’t right, it felt limiting and trapped me in the past. It described what I did, but it was not a good reflection of my personality or of the beliefs I bring to my work.
At the beginning of this year, 2025, I was one of the many HUD contractors that lost my work due to the DOGE cuts. I was in the final semester of graduating college when cuts started hitting myself and my colleagues hard. My community helped me to get through the end of school without income, a scenario I could not have even imagined myself in at this point in my life.
I knew it was time to grab this opportunity for change, and do something about it.
When you get the rug pulled out from under you, the only thing you can do is get the heck up and pull it all back together. I hit the drawing board hard. I knew I wanted to continue the work I was passionate about, but how? I had to find a way to re-brand, expand, and keep doing what I loved.
I spent HOURS thinking about who I was, what I believed in, what I knew I could do for others, and how I could package that in an authentic and meaningful way before landing where we are now: Rind and Reason Consulting.
Rind and Reason Consulting is me. It’s the most me thing I have ever pulled together. & I am so excited for you to get to know me through this new venture, and even more excited to continue getting to know my wonderful, amazing, inspiring clients and communities through our work together.
